Halloween’s done--time to break out those Christmas decor...HOLD UP! Wait a gosh darn minute there! Let’s not forget about one of the best holidays--Thanksgiving. Yes, a time to stuff your face, hang out with family, and not feel guilty just lying there watching TV while digesting. Time to also count your blessings and practice gratitude--for sweet, sweet Thanksgiving crafts!
Thanksgiving crafts are usually focused on turkeys, but they don’t have to be. Like any mom, I’ve got a “turkey shrine” going of all the masterpieces brought home from school or Stroller Strides and I’m excited to add to it every year. However, you can find some really fun crafts for other aspects of Thanksgiving such as:
- 1) PIE: delicious to the eye, non-calorific for the body
- 2) Placemats: educational AND entertaining (scroll down for the printable)
- 3) Cornucopias
- 4) Corn! (I bet these would work to make little place cards to make dinner extra fancy.)
