Who are the members of your family and where are you originally from?

My husband, Nick, and daughters Bella (8), Gina (5), Sofia (3), and baby girl due in August. I am originally from Memphis, TN.

When was your first Fit4Mom class and what do you remember about it?

December 208 at a new location that just opened near my neighborhood. I was excited to find a great group of welcoming women and a place where I could exercise but still have my littles with me while we all had fun.

Where can we find you? What is your Fit4Mom routine these days?

Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in Burke

What is your current job? Or what did you do before staying at home (if you don’t currently work outside the home)?

Before staying home with our girls, I was a sales tax auditor with the Idaho State Tax Commission.

What are 3 of your favorite things?

Family time/game night, coffee, Chicago Cubs

You are given 4 hours of FREE babysitting. What would you do?

Spa Day!

What has being a mom taught you?

There is a near-supernatural ability in a mom that allows us to unconditionally love and fiercely protect these beautiful lives with which we’ve been blessed, even when we’re completely exhausted or feeling awful.

What is your funniest or most embarrassing mommy moment so far?

After we brought Sofia home from the hospital and running on little sleep, I was holding both Sofia and Gina at the same time. After putting Gina down, I freaked out and kept asking where the baby was. My husband reminded me I was holding her.

Any words of wisdom for other moms?

Be able to laugh at yourself and difficult situations. Motherhood is tough, and keeping your sense of humor through the tantrum or whatever difficult moment you’re in can help get you through it. Of course, it’s not all funny, but when all three kids just had a fun day and one starts to whine and it sets off a chain reaction of whines, a little laughter is better than joining in.

What is your favorite thing about FIT4MOM? What would you tell someone thinking about joining?

I love having a place to do something for myself, but still have my littles with me and we are all having fun. Being a stay at home mom can be isolating at times and there is an amazing village of moms here who understand and are always willing to help or listen. In addition, I love being active, but gyms intimidate me. At Fit4Mom I am working out, laughing with friends and engaging our littles all at the same time! Win-Win!
