We are so excited to announce our MOM (Motivating Mom of the Month) for February! Each month we will take a moment to honor one of our local Fit4Mom LSBW NoVa Moms for her efforts to lead a healthy lifestyle and for her dedication to the program. This month we honor Christina Anderson from our Springfield village!

We asked Christina a few questions so we can all get to know her better, and here is what she had to say:
1. Who are the members of your family?
BJ, myself, Ethan, Dylan and Lady the dog:)
2. What is/was your career?
I'm an Orthodontist Assistant. At the moment I only work 2 Saturdays a month. The rest of the time I'm a stay home mama.
3. How long have you been a member of FIT4MOM Lorton-Springfield-Burke-Woodbridge, and what has it done for you?
It's been a year since I joined this wonderful group. I've been part of Stroller Strides, Run club and Body Back. FIT4MOM is my social club! I enjoy the classes and meeting all the wonderful moms. My boys have so much fun playing with the other kids and enjoying the play groups/crafts. The best part, thanks to FIT4MOM, I am finally losing weight and feeling more confident and physically strong!
4. What is your favorite class exercise?
Jumping jacks! I used to hate them, but now I love them!
5. What is one of your current wellness goals?
To continue sweating, losing weight and train to run a half marathon!
6. What is something that has surprised you about motherhood?
According to my hubby, he is surprised that we don't have more gray hairs than the ones we already have;) But the truth is, I'm in awe of the infinite love that you can feel for these little human beings! They teach me and make want to be better every day.
7. List 3 of your favorite things.
Family, traveling and God. Can I add coffee?;)
8. What is your proudest mommy moment so far?
I think is it daily that I find something to feel proud of them. I love how the boys play together; when Ethan tries to teach and help his brother or just when Dylan says "thank you" for anything;).
9. Any advice for other moms out there?
Take time for yourself!!! Exercise, have a girl’s night out, go shopping, get a mani/pedi or just take a walk! If you are happy, your family will be happy too!
Christina, thank you so much for your dedication to our village! We have thoroughly enjoyed watching you continue to challenge yourself through so many of our programs-Stroller Strides, Running Club and Body Back. You are such a wonderful example for your family for all of the moms in our village. Way to go, Mama!
